Ashton Garden
Another example of a small project that led to other things.
after
The client here was concerned about the tumbledown walls due to ivy encroachment and the loose
steps that were comprised of composite concrete flags. We cleared the ivy and rebuilt the walls whilst using Indian stone
to form the steps. The result is a pleasant contrast between both types of stone.
This inevitably raised questions
about the patio area at the top of the steps. In the end we continued the theme of the Indian stone and, because the wooden
support to the porch was rotting and sunk into the patio, we replaced that and re- painted the porch.

All it took then was a bulk bag of coloured gravel and some retaining stone and the entire garden was transformed.
